Photo illustration work for the cover of the 20th Annual Route 66 Fun Run Pamphlet.
April, 2007- This image is a composite of three different images, two of which were taken by me. The man in the photo is the owner of the beautiful classic car pictured and was kind enough to pose with his car in downtown Kingman for this shoot. I sat in the back of the car and shot an exposure of the interior of the car as well as an exterior shot of the water tower with the town's logo on it. I also found the old image of a car on a postcard (shown in the mirror) at the Mohave Museum of History and Arts and they let me scan it in for this cover. I put the three images together in Photoshop and viola! The newspaper's Graphics Department did the lettering afterwards.
